Welcome to The Art of Giving blog. The Art of Giving or TAOG as we like to call it is dedicated to a simple proposition – art enriches life and art for charity enriches life immeasurably.
We sell beautiful works of art and donate a percentage of each sale to one of four deserving charities – Room to Read, Mercy Corps, Oregon Humane Society and Oregon Food Bank.
On the blog we will share information on the art, the charities and the artists and……. we will be guided on the website by our supermodel spokesperson Lola. Lola is a lucky rescue literally plucked off the busiest street in Palm Springs.
Lola is a big lover of the Arts and from time to time she will let us know “What Lola Likes” as we discuss or feature a work of art, an artist or one of our charities.
We are thrilled to be raising money from our site, www.taog.org, for four deserving charities – Mercy Corps, Room to Read, Oregon Humane Society and Oregon Food Bank. Each of these deserving charities serves a different population in need from disaster relief, to girls and women’s education in the developing world, animal aid and food for those hit hard by today’s economic challenges.
We are proud to feature the following artists – Allison Stern, Joe Loria, Selene Robinowitz, Bruce Ulrich and Sharon Graugnard. Check back often as we will be continually adding new artists.
Our deepest hope is that this site is WILDLY successful and raises tremendous funds for these charities and the populations they serve.
So join the conversation – and let us know what you think of The Art of Giving.
