When I first decided to start The Art of Giving, the purpose, structure and mission were so clear as if i was reading pages from a novel already written for me. I had and continue to have a clarity of purpose and intent – because I know this is something I am meant to do – I am following my bliss.
Artists envision and then create beautiful art – I view The Art of Giving as a work of art as well. By combining art, beauty, charity and community we are creating something beautiful and unique.
By letting go you start to receive just what you most need. While starting this new venture brings uncertainty and certainly is not about making money – it feels so complete and perfect.
I hope you will stay with me on this new journey as i follow my bliss and try to raise enormous sums of money for our partner charities – Room to Read, Mercy Corps, Oregon Humane Society and Oregon Food Bank.
